November sales for Educational Development Corporation were $2,436,800, the highest monthly sales in the Company's history and an increase of 14.4% over November last year. Sales for the third quarter ended November 30, 2001, were $6,007,900, an increase of 14.5% over the third quarter last year and were the highest quarterly sales for the Company in five years.
The Home Business Division's net sales for November were $1,993,000, the highest month in the history of the Division and an increase of 22.9% over November last year. The third quarter net sales for the Home Business Division were $4,474,800, an increase of 22.5% over the third quarter last year and were the highest quarterly sales in the history of the Home Business Division.
Educational Development Corporation sells the Usborne line of children's books through its multi-level sales organization, through 10,000 retail stores and over the Internet. The Company offers over 1,100 different titles for children of all ages.
